MARKIAN MAXIMIUK
Markian Maximiuk is a Ukrainian Canadian musician based out of Winnipeg Manitoba. Through his study of the mandolin, Markian loves to research and play traditional Ukrainian folk music as a way of connecting to his cultural heritage. This will be Markian’s third year playing at Ukraine-Kyiv Pavilion and he cannot wait to see everyone and share some music once again!

PACHES TRIO
The three Paches brothers, Stepan, Yaroslav and Alexander, were born and raised in Winnipeg and are proud of their Ukrainian heritage. The singing journey started for the boys at a very young age under the tutelage of their mother, Miroslava, and still continues with many prominent and gifted teachers, vocal coaches, conductors, performers. These young men enjoy making harmonies as a trio, singing in various choirs and vocal ensembles, and performing solo at many events throughout the city and beyond. Paches Trio is heavily rooted in their culture and traditions, always striving contribute to the betterment of the Ukrainian community.

SOFIA BILOZOR
Sofia Bilozor is a first generation, Canadian born singer and musician with Ukrainian roots. Sofia plays the guitar, bandura, and piano and enjoys singing in 15 different languages but most passionate for Ukrainian Folk music. She has performed at many events and festivals in Winnipeg and across Canada over the past 20 years. Sofia has recorded and performed with several Winnipeg bands, groups and choirs. Currently released is her album Enchanting Melodies. Sofia has a soulful and melodic sound that will catch the attention of any song lover! YARYNKA CHEPIHA & MARIA IVANCHENKO
Yarynka Chepiha came to Winnipeg from Kyiv, Ukraine on April 14, 2022, and Maria Ivanchenko, also from Ukraine, arrived in Winnipeg on May 23, 2022. Before being forced to flee their homes in Ukraine, they both played in the pop symphony orchestra “Lords of the Sound” which has performed soundtracks for many movies such as Harry Potter, Titanic, Avatar & Interstellar. The opportunity to do what they love has been stolen from them as a result of recent events in Ukraine. They are very grateful for the opportunity to sing and play and share their creativity with others.
Яринка Чепіга і Марія Іванченко приїхали недавно з України. Вони дуже люблять музику і раніше грали в естрадно-симфонічному оркестрі, “Lords of the Sound”, який виконував саундтреки до кінофільмів, таких як “Harry Potter”, “Titanic”, “Avatar”, та “Interstellar.” У них була вкрадена можливість займатись улюбленою справою через події в Україні і вони дуже вдячні за можливість виступити і поділитись їхньою творчістю.
